Functionality Notes:

Lathe was originally a Hardinge Chucker type lathe with all the designed functions for this lathe type. The lathe was stripped of these functions and had an OmniTurn CNC controller and kit attached to the lathe, modifying the machine into a conventional 2-Axis CNC lathe. The lathe has programmable, air-actuated bar indexing and 5C collet closer features.

The present owner is selling this machine because he has two other OmniTurn lathes in his shop that cover his production needs. My customer is a retired machinist who maintains this shop as a hobby, so to speak, still making parts for several long-term customers.

This machine has treated him well with no mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical problems.
